Welcome to Laura McCabe Dance Academy, Aberaeron, West Wales - Founded in September 2022 by Laura McCabe.
With over 25 years of experience working professionally in the industry as a Dancer, Choreographer, Teacher and Examiner with a love of wanting to offer high quality dance training in a place deeply rooted through family and community.

Every child is encouraged at their own pace in a positive, structured and nurturing environment .
Whether Children wish to pursue dance professionally or simply enjoy dancing for fun our academy offers opportunities for all.

There are opportunities to take part in IDTA exams, performances, competitions, workshops with industry professionals helping children build strong foundations developing a genuine love of dance in a supportive and inspiring setting.

We are delighted to announce that 6 children from Aberaeron (a first for Ceredigion) have qualified to take part in the biggest dance competition in the world - Dance World Cup 2026 which this year is being held in Dublin .
They have been chosen from thousands to be on Team Wales and will represent their country in the summer but we need your help to get them there!

About Laura McCabe
I have enjoyed a successful career dancing professionally on Cruise ships, Television, Film and Corporate events before moving on to teaching and choreographing throughout schools and professional dance colleges around the UK including many years at the prestigious Jelli Studios, Liverpool.
Honestly, I am delighted to have achieved another dream in setting up my own dance school on the beautiful West Wales coast in Aberaeron (a place close to my heart through family).
Due to the rural location I wanted to bring dance, IDTA syllabus and the many other opportunities that a dance school can bring to the local area.
I am excited for the school to grow it has been truly rewarding.
